Vision Statement

West Bengal Forest Development Corporation has been established with the objective of promotion of Scientific Forestry, Environmental Conservation, Eco-development and Community Participation through JFM. Ecotourism pursuits in various parts of West Bengal has ably joined the bandwagon.

The mounting pressure of development, marketing competion and ever increasing needs of rural/tribal/urban population not only sets new challenges and goals more difficult to achieve, it has made us more resolute in our endeavor.

It is of paramount importance for us at WBFDC that in our quest for achieving success in this endevour our institution maintian high international standards of professionalism and sophistication with a strong conviction for overall socio-economic upliftment of the forest fringe dwellers.
